Abu Dhabi Inspires is a programme of initiatives that transform adversity into opportunity

Launched by HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, in order to drive forward innovative responses to current realities, Abu Dhabi Inspires includes initiatives that tap into current trends to create new paths to the future.

Our Pillars

The programme promotes agile thinking in government and in the community, supporting bright minds to invent, develop, and launch tangible ideas that will have a positive impact on people now and into the future. Abu Dhabi Inspires is also an invitation. The programme welcomes input from members of the community, from businesses and individuals.

Initiatives

Under the Abu Dhabi Inspires umbrella, a series of initiatives led by government entities provide fresh possibilities in the short-term, while continuing to deliver on Abu Dhabi’s long-term plans – encouraging skill-building, investing in tech-based innovation and supporting inclusive wellbeing.

Fit @Home

The Department of Community Development Abu Dhabi has launched Fit@Home, a free online workout series that encourages the community to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle while at home.

DIgital Learning For All

An initiative that offers all UAE citizens and residents free access to online learning programmes from some of the world’s top institutions, Digital Learning For All has been launched by the Abu Dhabi School of Government.

Parents Platform

Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority launched Parents Platform, a regional first offering the latest scientific studies, research and best practices for early child development, from pregnancy to 8 years old.

Youth Tech

Department of Education and Knowledge and StartAD launched ‘YouthTech Competition’ - an initiative that encourages youth to develop tech-enabled startups which focus on providing digital solutions in the areas of education, economy, infrastructure and society. The competition is designed to nurture a culture of entrepreneurship and ignite the spirit of inventive discovery amongst the youth, empowering and equipping them with the tools to transform their concepts into reality.
